Subaru Legacy Flashing Brake Light

Subaru Legacy Flashing Brake Light – So it just happened. I drive all day, I pull into a mall parking lot and my speedometer lights up with CEL and traction control with cruise control and parking brake. I have a 2013 Outback 3.6r. The fluid levels are good, the oil level is low at the first point on the level, and the rear view camera is shorted out. I will plug it in tomorrow to check the codes. Any ideas? It is strange that the car drives well.

Is your gas cap loose? This is a common cause of CEL and causes other systems to turn off so their lights also come on.

Subaru Outback Questions

These symptoms seem to be common to the same wiring where the brake switch was located. Check and replace the ignition switch from your dealer.

In my 2013 3.6R these warning lights turned out to be the front air/fuel oxygen sensor. The OBDII code issued was P0031. A new oxygen sensor fixed everything. The part number was 22641AA53A. This happened in October 2018 with less than 45,000 miles.

I also drive a 2013 Subaru Outback 3.6R. I have over 180,000 miles on it. It started stuttering while accelerating from about 50 to 55 mph, when I tried to accelerate it stuttered, now the check engine light, cruise control brake light, cruise control light all together and the TPMS sensor came on about a month ago maybe , a month. and before half I got into some really cold coolant and thought maybe it had something to do with it. I was wondering if you had the same experience with stuttering and speeding?

Codes cleared, running doesn’t feel like Christmas anymore. The report highlighted in red is the only value that exceeds the limit. Recommendations

So This. Brake Light Flashing, Traction Control Light On, And Check Engine. I Got Out After I Got Home And Smelled The Brakes, That’s Good From What I Can Tell, But The

P2196 doesn’t show the same sensor but maybe since S2 is high I might be tempted to check B1S1 for wiring issues or maybe swap it to the other side to check again?

And while we’re here. Can anyone recommend a good OBD2 reader? I think oblique LX.

Last year I bought an iCarsoft i903 scanner. Designed for Subaru, Infiniti and Nissan. Reads engine codes, ABS codes, SRS codes, transmission codes and more. The device is great, but be aware that there is no iCarsoft customer support. If you decide to order it, make sure the return policy is reliable if you decide you don’t like it.

If the same or similar codes appear again, continue to investigate the O2 sensor, but it’s important to note that people, including myself, have had batteries fail for the wrong reasons, and failed alternators produce “false” codes.

I Was Driving To Work This Afternoon And All These Lights Came On Suddenly. The Cruise Notification And Brake Warning Were Both Blinking. I Didn’t Use Cruise Control And The E Brake Wasn’t

This is an old thread, you may not get a reply, and maybe the old thread will be reopened. Please consider creating a new topic. I just got my first Subaru. On the way home my brake light came on and my vision seemed to go out along with several other lights. I stopped and restarted the car and it went away but came back a minute later. I also noticed that the parking brake did not work before restarting the car. After I restarted the car, the parking brake worked fine again. I’m already planning on sending it back first thing on Monday, but I’m wondering if there’s anything I can do in the meantime.

I wouldn’t worry too much. Read the eye book warnings. You can use Google to search for a manual online or use the My Subaru portal.

Since this is just a warning (information) from your computer, it is usually something small, such as bright sun, foggy windows, rain, polluted air, a deep hill, and a hill blocking the view of the two cameras.

It’s usually fine for a few minutes, just keep driving, it won’t affect your driving unless you’ve actually lost brake function and avoid using the car.

Brake Dash Light Goes On And Off…help

I clicked the “Info” button and it just checked the manual. The parking brake also does not work and keeps flashing.

The same thing just happened to me. I’ve had my car for 5 years now and I don’t remember the parking brake light or anything that happened to it. In bad weather I couldn’t see well, but not today. Did you ever understand why this happened?

I would take it to a shop that can read the codes with an OBII scanner. It can be very simple.

Took it back to the dealer and they found that the parking brake linkage had come loose causing blurred vision. They reinstalled it and have had no problems since. I love this Subaru, even though it is my wife’s car, I can look at Subaru whenever I need my car.
