I have also heard that some people use CR2032 batteries for longer periods of time. Yesterday I used my last CR2025 battery to replace my key fob batteries after only a year and a half of service. I will order some CR2032 batteries to keep at home for future delivery.

If you want to try the CR2032, make sure you tighten the ball cap properly with the rubber o-ring. I believe the CR2032 lasts a bit longer, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t lie to the CR2025 brand name.
