It wasn’t the most powerful engine in our test, but it wasn’t short on power, and it aimed to deliver plenty of torque and good acceleration where people want it: stop-and-go. As a bonus, it also achieved the second-best fuel economy on our 200-mile real-world fuel economy route, returning 29.3 mpg in nice, windy conditions, mostly highways.
