It has been around since the 90s and has had a few facelifts in recent years with body style changes. We would like to point out that the vehicle is built and designed for golf and is not intended to be a road legal vehicle. So be aware that safety is a concern with the E-Z-GO Liberty TXT golf cart. However, we emphasize that the vehicle has a steel frame that makes it more fearsome on the road compared to the aluminum chassis. The disadvantage of a steel frame is its ability to rust. It is a powder coated steel that will resist rust.

DCS (Drive Control System) – Found mainly on older EZGO models, the golf cart is moved with a lever next to the switch instead of a shifter. The engine does not have a speed sensor.
PDS (Precision Drive System) – Used on EZGO models from about 2000 and newer, the golf cart is delivered with a toggle switch under the seat rather than a lever. The motor has a speed sensor and the controller has several connections.
