As we watch, we see the woman walking through a space full of replicas of a handsome man, singing, dancing, swimming and flying, while the woman looks around him, taking it all in. The tagline, “Hear the sound in all directions,” we feel exactly what we did. We already experience the product visually, and the advertisers’ song selection evokes that experience, keeping us long after the 30-second commercial ends.
The mystery song in the Apple Music ad is aptly named “Mystery Woman.” The music artists behind it are Masego and Don Tolliver. When they got together to write “Mystery Woman,” they didn’t do it for an Apple commercial. The song was released on Masego’s EP “Study Abroad” in November 2020. The video dropped the same month.

The man we see in the Apple ad “Beyond Stereo” is singer, songwriter and producer Masego (also known as Micah Davis and Uncle Sego), a self-described “trap house jazz” artist. Born in Jamaica and raised in Virginia, he has pursued his musical interests throughout his life and his dedication to making music is genuine.
