When I first got this error I removed it using forscan. Today I made a mistake again. It could be something else, but not the battery. The car is Mazda 6 2016 2.5 GT without start/stop, but with i-eloop. In the specifications I see the required battery is Q85, which can be purchased from Mazda. I am not the first owner of this car and I think the car battery is normal. This is a Krieger Kri60JIS 60 Ah 450A.

I did a lot of research on this when a battery failure also appeared on my screen a few years ago.
The first time I went to an Advance Auto dealership and they tested my Q85 batteries. Reading was perfect so I didn’t understand why I was getting this error.
I looked into this section and did you know that there is a program in the car’s computer (not the infotainment center) that counts the number of times the car is turned on/off? Software engineers sometimes call these time bombs (no offense). When the starting number is reached, this is displayed, so you will have to go to the store and change the battery. In my book, you can do a reset to clear this error and continue using the battery. It’s been over 2 years since I relapsed. My Mazda 6 has 50,000 miles (and is 6 years old) since October 2015. Again, I only did this because it was good to read. I live in a place where the temperature is below 0F in the winter and have no problems. I also have a battery voltage tester that I plug into a 12V outlet and as long as it reads 11.5 at 12+ in the morning before I start, I should be good. I plan to buy a new AGM battery from Advance, Pepboys or Batteries Plus for about $200 when the time comes. Be sure to always order and pick up online. I don’t remember reading this in the owner’s manual, or I may have forgotten it, so this procedure interests me.
As I said in my previous post, the battery is dead. I even tried to replace it using a CTEK tool and then a quick charger from our local battery store. The man said he was no longer guilty.
I had the same problem with my Mazda. Recently a message came up in my control panel saying “PCM Software Problem” was updated and then the check engine light went off.
