Those are only 9 hp and 15 lb-ft gains, so don’t expect a performance increase, but I’ve always liked the K20C1 type R engine, so I’m not complaining. A six-speed manual is the only transmission, and it has Honda’s excellent auto-matching technology – which I personally like, but can also be turned off if you insist. Honda says the shifter is stiffer and has improved the gear port pattern for “very precise” shifting. The CTR still uses front-wheel drive, and limited-slip differentials help put the engine’s power to the pavement.
