With BOSCH†, the system, inspired by automotive technology, integrates ABS, traction control and stability control functions for incredibly safe driving.
Stability control evaluates the direction you aim with the handlebars and determines the appropriate response of the car. The system applies individual wheel braking and/or reduces excess engine torque until control is regained.
The sensor monitors the rotation of all three wheels. If a wheel is in danger of locking, ABS reduces brake pressure. This intervention is repeated rapidly, independently at each wheel, to ensure maximum braking performance.
When the traction control system detects excessive rear wheel spin (for example, in slippery conditions), it reduces engine speed by adjusting engine ignition and fuel injection. This allows the road to accelerate with minimal correction from the driver.

An electronically controlled power steering system provides variable assistance to the driver when the steering wheel is turned. The amount of assistance depends on the vehicle speed to adjust the steering force to a comfortable level.
