Western Movie Coming Out Soon – I’ve always liked the west. I’ve seen most of the classics, but I don’t go out to see new ones. Of course, not many modern Westerners are touching screens these days. Nobody wants to watch anything but superhero movies.
I came across Old Henry (2021) the other day and thought it was a great western. I had never heard of it before, so I’m glad I jumped at the chance.
Western Movie Coming Out Soon
Most of the time it’s the same old western story you’ve seen many times. The film opens with a farmer (Tim Blake Nelson) and his young son (Gavin Lewis) working. An unmounted horse appeared on the hill and blood was found on the couple’s saddle. Farmer Ryder (Scott Hayes) finds out. He is injured and has a bag.

They take Ryder to his house. This time he was unconscious, so the farmer tied him to a bed and headed for town. Money indicates it is not good. As he left, the rider ran away and the farmer attacked the boy when he returned. As they warm up and get to know each other, we learn that the former farmer has a secret he’s trying to escape.
Three other pilots are looking for the injured. They have the bills, but the farmer is suspicious. They say the wounded rider is evil. The injured rider says he can’t find it. A farmer must know who to trust. Of course, we know he’s hiding something too.
Want to know what a good fit is? soup Good western scenes have to be covered in dirt and grime for most of the movie. Baths are rare outside the cities and these farms are remote. I’m happy to see the filmmakers giving the characters so much dirt for the majority of the film. Don’t worry, there are still plenty of shots!
Because it’s a western, but it also has some action and some horror elements. The casting is very good for this type of film. It was great to see Stefan Dorff again (he was one of the riders who came to pick up the injured rider). The artwork is very classy and the film has the right period feel. All in all, it was fun enough to keep my attention until the end. I will see it again.
