Uppababy Cruz And Mesa Car Seat – One of our favorite family activities (social distancing) is going for a walk in our neighborhood or even the beach. It’s great to get out of the house, get some fresh air and do a bit of exploring and observing – you never know what you might find!
When I was looking for car seats and strollers last year, I knew I wanted to make some updates to Jack’s products. It was always easier to carry him in the carrier, then when he was older I took him out for walks (and runs) in the stroller. Archa now also enjoys long walks. Now four-and-a-half months old (how did that happen?!), he happily walks in his UPPAbaby CRUZ V2 (BRYCE) stroller.

UPPAbaby makes it easy and safe to take June with you on our little adventures. We use the MESA infant car seat (in BRYCE) in my vehicle and the car seat attaches easily to the CRUZ V2 stroller.

The CRUZ V2, on the other hand, has a removable child seat that can hold up to 50 pounds to grow with Juni. You can also build a crib or SnugSeat for newborns (just like we did with the MESA infant car seat).
I also love how UPPAbaby thought of all the little details of the seat design – from the foldable UPF 50+ cover, the vented peek-a-boo windows, to the color indicators that let you know when the wheels are locked. Great design and great colors that will appeal to every modern mom! We’re so glad we chose BRYCE, even though it’s a lighter color, we brushed it off with ease.
And when it’s time to enjoy air travel again, I’ll be more than happy to take the CRUZ V2 with us on our adventures away from home!

There are many reasons why I am so happy with the UPPAbaby CRUZ V2. Best of all, right out of the box, I knew it was safe and well made. After using it for a while, there are some important things to keep in mind.
When it came time to choose a stroller for Rumi, I knew I wanted a full-sized stroller, but I didn’t want something too big. Some rides are very large and difficult to manage. Meanwhile, full-size strollers are better for babies and you can get more out of them. The CRUZ V2 is great because it’s one of the smaller V2 models in size. It is suitable for children up to 50 kg, so we take full advantage of it.
One of the biggest selling points for me is that the CRUZ V2 fits MESA child car seats without the need for additional adapters. All you have to do is put the baby seat in or out of the car seat…it’s so easy! It’s always easy when I travel with four kids.
Did you know that almost all travel agencies advertise the size of their storage baskets? Well, the Cruze V2’s trunk is really big. If you’re a parent, you know how much trash gets collected when you go out. A basket that actually works is a huge win.

There’s nothing worse than pushing a heavy cart and having to roll or ride comfortably on uneven pavement or gravel. The CRUZ V2 has a smooth steering wheel for shock absorption and well-studded lightweight tires. Perfect for walking around town. It has a very simple color-coded parking lot that you can easily push on and off with your foot, even with your shoes on.

Rumi is now about 5 months old and still uses the MESA car seat. Because of COVID, he now only leaves the house to go for a drive or a walk, so we don’t go out and about as much as we want!
Soon, I will slowly transition him to a regular booster seat. I look forward to trying it out and will update this post when we get around to it!
