The new ad campaign, called “Perfect Rhythm,” will feature two spots featuring McConaughey and the 2018 Navigator, the first of which.

The video was shot in the Pacific Northwest by photographer Wally Pfister, who worked on the “Continental” campaign. McConaughey had the idea to stop at a railroad crossing and start an impromptu concert, even though there was no train.
“This room is about energy,” Emmert added. “You see Matthew is in charge. He starts a rhythm and it builds and he becomes the master of his experience. We layered in a complex sound design as the freight train enters and passes the scene. There’s this amazing crescendo of light and sound that builds and ends as suddenly as it starts.
The two-part campaign will air as a television commercial on Jan. 2 during the College Football Playoff. 1, start with this 60-second video. The second episode will air later in the month.
