Installing Rava is easy using the LATCH method. It has push-style connectors with a convenient lock and no level indicator. We are concerned that no indicator is perfect for determining the correct angle for babies. However, if you follow our advice and use a car seat before switching to a convertible, this may not be such a big deal. Not having to worry about leveling the seats reduces frustration during installation.

The road network on the Rava packs a lot into a small space and although the directions are good, it is overwhelming and we recommend using both the manual provided and the stickers.
The reclining adjustment is located on the side and is easy to operate. It’s so good that the handle is not attached to the car seat. The trail is accessible and we had no problems with twisted nets. The key works well, but does not act as a tensioner, so you should tighten the strap as tight as possible before locking it. Cup holders can prevent stiffness, but the end result is stable. We had to get into the car to get enough force to close the key, but it is wide and easy to press, unlike keys that only have room for one or two fingers. The installation process went smoothly and the final installed rack is very sturdy.
Pulling a cord on Rava is not the best angle and requires some patience and strength.
The front is similarly plain, with small passages for the LATCH strap, but access is open and the connectors work well. The spanner and wrench make all the difference in ease of installation, and Nona clearly understands the task. The process is quick and painless, with a very stable final installation.

The belt rail on the Rava uses the same opening as the cup holder and this tends to crowd the space and make it difficult to tighten the belt.
The route is color coded blue, different from the route further ahead, making it less confusing and easier to navigate. It’s so simple that we’re impressed and relieved compared to some of the more complicated options that don’t have useful features like strap lock.
There’s a lot going on with the installation system on the Rava, and while it’s somewhat color-coded and detailed, parents should refer to the manual for full instructions.
The forward-facing installation for this Noona is also a breeze, with red-coded cable routing and a really useful wrench/tensioner. Thanks to a track and tensioner, you don’t have to fight to tighten the shoulder strap. We had trouble with the competing harness for space, but once you remove it, it’s quite easy to close the lock. The path is well marked and large enough that most parents can use it without any problems. Tightening the belt is not a chore. The end product is solid in both test cars.

The Rava has a standard buckle that is easily accessible, has a square button and requires little effort to push the prongs into place. The buckle rises higher than some other chairs, making it easier to access. We had no problems using the buckle or chest clip, and the clip is convenient and works well.

The cups on the Rava can be difficult for toddlers or small children to reach or use, but this is not unusual for all products.
