Newborn In Mesa Car Seat – My baby girl is finally here and I still can’t believe it! Since she has been with us, we have enjoyed trying all her new treats and treats. We brought her home with the UPPAbaby MESA car seat and finally saw how great UPPAbaby and their products are. He sat very quietly and comfortably in the chair, because he never spoke. Yesterday I shared some of my favorite baby items for my three children and one of my favorites is our UPPAbaby MESA Infant Car Seat. It really is Baby Safety Month and our friends at UPPAbaby have some great car seat safety tips to make sure your child is a safe driver. I took this car seat safety test and was happy to get a 9 out of 10. However, I was surprised at how technical using a car seat can be. There’s a lot of useful information in the test, you know, when the car seat is rear-facing, the belt should be on or over the child’s shoulder, but if the car seat is forward-facing, the belt or the child above the shoulder. We chose Henry fabric, which is actually the first naturally fire-resistant car seat, eliminating the use of harmful chemicals. Another feature of the MESA is that you never have to refasten the straps. As your child grows, the headrest and harness will move easily without removing the car seat (and possibly tightening the straps). The back of the head also protects against side effects. We had to pull Briar’s car seat belts because she was growing like a weed (and it broke mom’s heart!!).

Anyone have an Uppababy Mesa car seat? Ours was built in 2020. From the moment we left the hospital, we hated having our baby there. His head is not secure, he is now 9 weeks so he is getting better but still his head is moving forward and he doesn’t have the strength to hold his head up. The newborn supplement was removed as the newborn weighed over 8lbs so I feel that helped her condition quite a bit. I think the car seat was too upright so his head could have easily fallen on his chest.

Does the chair recline? Does the base have a “level with ground” indicator or level bubble? The instructions say that a towel can be added under the base to change the angle (like ours, but it’s a kosi maxi).
I’m surprised it doesn’t bend! I’ll have to call uppababy as I don’t believe that’s the only option. Or even if the surface is green, there must be a base. ������

I have another seat but it always happens with the first seat. I use that car seat again and my second seat is great in it. You can take a receiving blanket and wrap it around the baby’s head (don’t put it on the head or behind the baby because it’s not safe)
This is why I hate cosi maxi. It just won’t bend! This bothers me a lot
I have an Uppababy Mesa and no problems. I have not experienced this at all. We love ourselves.
I have had this car seat with no problems and my daughter has a very large head. Have you tried watching a YouTube video to double check all the strap adjustment options? It looks like your lock is lower, but we’re using the forward-facing slot
