As I mentioned above, there are 4 ways to use this seat: rear facing, forward facing, high back booster and backless booster.
Rear-Facing Stroller Seat: As a rear-facing stroller seat, you can use this seat for children between 4 and 50 pounds. It is highly recommended that you push your child backwards until he is at least 2 years old, but preferably until he exceeds the weight or height limit. why? Because small children are 5 times safer facing the back. The high weight limit of this chair allows you to face your child for a long time.
One of the neatest features of this Graco car seat is the Extend2Fit feature, which provides up to 5 inches of extra legroom (there are 4 different lengths), allowing your child to move further back (in other words, safer ) to climb. , because the legs will be easier. Keep in mind that while this car seat can be used forward-facing up to 22 pounds, if possible, it’s safer to keep rear-facing until your child reaches 50 pounds or more in this seat. (The child’s head should be placed at least 1 inch below the head adjustment handle).

Forward-facing car seat: The Graco4Ever Extend2Fit 4-in-1 car seat can be used as a forward-facing car seat (with a 5-point harness) when your child weighs 22 pounds until they reach 65 pounds. This is the setup we use for our 5 year old son and our 7 year old daughter.
Back booster seat: As a back booster, you can use this seat from 40 to 100 pounds. As I mentioned above, I keep my kids in a 5 point harness as long as possible, but I also wanted to take a picture to show you how this seat is used as a secondary booster.

For a perfect fit, the Simply Safe Adjust™ harness system with 10-position head allows you to adjust the handle and head together, without sharpening. Graco has done a great job adding some great features to this seat designed for your child’s comfort. Included with your purchase is a shoulder strap holster and plush insert for younger children. They also integrate two cup holders.
One thing I was concerned about with this seat is that the harness is difficult to remove when the seat is attached to be used as a booster. Fortunately, Graco has integrated a harness storage compartment that holds unused harness straps in the belt position booster.
I was also worried about how difficult it would be to convert this chair into a backless booster. Although removing the seat takes a few minutes, it really isn’t a difficult process.

Another thing I like about this chair is that the seat cover is washable and easy to remove. You don’t even have to remove the harness to remove the cover! Although I’ve shown you more than all 4 car seat configurations, I actually only use the first 2 now because all my kids still use the 5 point harness when they get in the car.

The biggest fault I can see with this chair is its size. If you are a family like mine with multiple children in car seats, finding the shortest car seat on the market is sometimes the first thing you should look at. Since these seats are 19 inches wide, you cannot fit 3 seats in one car. However, this only creates problems for families with several small children.
Overall, I am very happy with the Graco 4Ever Extend2Fit 4-in-1 car seat and think it is one of the best car seats on the market right now. We now use it front to back for my 18 month old son and he is very happy with it.
