For those unable to purchase or install a smoke alarm due to financial or material limitations, the Stamford Fire Department continues to provide assistance. Our program offers free installation of battery-powered combination smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and we are pleased to announce that more detectors are on the way to meet current demand.
