The body of this car is completely restored in gold plating. The chrome work is bright and shiny with a few marks here and there. The almost new white canvas looks and feels new and needs a little stretching to fully print. A gold flying ornament replaces the original.
According to the construction plate, it was originally made of red, so we can think that the inside was revived and turned into gold. Front and rear seats, gold carpet in good condition, passenger compartment. The combination of the door handles and the power of the windows is obvious. A very nice item, similar to the original equipment can be seen, along with an AM/FM cassette radio. This is a very nice front end for a car that looks like it is original.
Cadillac didn’t jump on the bandwagon in the 1960s. A 429ci V8 with a Carter 4-barrel carburetor producing 340hp. The engine under the hood may have made a lot of power, but it was designed to quietly handle and tow a heavy vehicle with the whisper of an electric motor pushing and pulling it. Pair this with a 3-speed automatic transmission and you’re in the boat business.
