First on our list is the bacon air fryer. This is really one of the easiest recipes because all you have to do is put the bacon in the fryer in one layer. I like to use Wright’s brand thick bacon and cut it in half to fit in the air pressure cooker. The pressure cooker I use is 5.7 quarts, so it will hold about 5 pieces of bacon cut in half. If your fryer is smaller, it won’t last as long.

I set the pressure cooker to 350F and set the time to 9 minutes. If you are using thinner bacon, check it after 5 minutes and then every minute as it will cook quickly!

A quick tip for cooking bacon in a pressure cooker. If you want to cook more than one batch, make sure to drain the oil after each cooking. Otherwise, he starts smoking.

Next on my list of easy fryer chicken wings. I would never make chicken wings any other way! They come out perfect and very tasty! Plus, you won’t get your baking pan dirty!

When I make chicken wings, I always spray the pan with cooking spray because they stick so easily. I put them in a single layer (I usually fit about 10-12 chicken wings) and dry them with paper towels. Then I season with salt and pepper.

Now we just bake them at 380 F for 25 minutes. I like to open the fryer basket every 5 minutes and shake them to cook them evenly (I demonstrate this technique in the video below).

After 25 minutes, I increase the temperature to 400 degrees and cook for another 3-5 minutes.

Now let’s talk about another easy fritter recipe… gourmand! These things are so tasty and delicious in the air fryer! On my Air Fryer Brussel Sprouts blog, I give recipes for fresh sprouts, but I use frozen sprouts in this post and video below. You must be amazed!

Air pressure cookers aren’t just having a moment — they’re becoming a kitchen staple. Air pressure cooking is basically a convection oven that quickly turns hot air into oil-free food. There are many designs and sizes, and the magical device has become famous for its ability to turn versions of savory foods like tater tots and onion rings into crunchy, better-than-ready snacks without cooking. However, there are many different foods that benefit from pressure cooking.

Frozen foods such as mozzarella sticks, French fries, chicken nuggets and vegetables are transformed in the air fryer. Homemade potatoes are also easy: Cut the potatoes into sticks, wash them under running water, add oil and spices and cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes. They are crispy without being fried.

Bacon is even easier. Add the strips in a single layer to the basket and cook for 7-11 minutes, depending on how thick and how thick you want the crust to be. It’s faster than the oven, you avoid splattering the pan and the excess grease drains into the pan, so it’s a healthier option.

Easy Air Fryer Sausage

Everything from steak to baked goods and even a chicken can be cooked in a pressure cooker. To really travel with your air fryer, invest in some attachments that allow you to make cakes, muffins, skewers and even pizza.

Cook in the oven, because this tool is very versatile. Avoid foods with wet batter, like beer battered shrimp – they’ll stick to the basket, make a mess, and the texture will be a bit rubbery. However, bagged and packaged foods such as chicken thighs or fish sticks cook perfectly in a pressure cooker. Also, if you’re not making kale chips, don’t use a pressure cooker for leafy greens – they don’t really benefit from this cooking method and can fly around the bin from the force of the air.

If you’re new to the world of air fryers, you’re in for a treat. Here are some life best practices for using your air fryer.

Place the air bag on a heat-safe surface. The air fryer unit gets really hot, so make sure you use it on a surface that can withstand the heat. Also keep it a few centimeters away from other appliances or kitchen utensils. Hot air comes out of the vent, and that’s how I melted the outside of my coffee maker in my early days.

Preheat the air pressure cooker. Like an oven, a pressure cooker must be preheated before cooking. Unlike the oven, it only takes a few minutes. This little extra step will help ensure that everything you make will be nicely browned or battered.

Get an oil spray. Depending on what you are cooking, you may need to grease the bottom of the basket. If you just throw it in the trash, you’re wasting oil because it will leak into the box and cause the device to smoke. It is not recommended to use a can of spray oil from the store, as the aerosols can damage the air spray coating. Instead, buy a spray bottle with a hand pump and fill it with oil. You can use it with other cooking utensils and it will help you to reduce the amount of oil used.

Do not overfill the basket. I’d like to get some extra potatoes in there – that’s a big deal, right? Well, you’re left with a pile of rotten, soggy potatoes that don’t live up to all the fryer hype you hear. Whatever you’re cooking, whether it’s potatoes, vegetables or chicken, make sure you only leave one layer in the basket. otherwise, the food will be cooked instead of steamed.

Shake the basket regularly while cooking. This helps the fryer cook smaller foods that are difficult to fry individually, such as potatoes, fritters or broccoli.

Avoid smoking with water or bread. When you fry something fatty, like bacon or hamburger, you may see smoke rising from the fryer as the fat in the pan overheats. To prevent this, you can add about 2 tablespoons of water to the pot before cooking. For example, it works well with a hamburger patty, but bacon can be a little crunchy, so you might as well leave the bread in the pan to soak up any grease.

Air Fryer Salmon

Remove the basket from the box before pouring the food into the dish. Otherwise, you’ll be pouring the oil that has accumulated in the box back into the food. This is not good. Just press the handle button and remove the basket from the box. Bonus tip: You can also save the fat and use it to make a delicious sauce in the pan.

Clean both the basket and the box each time. Keep the box and container separate and wash them thoroughly with soap and water. It’s tempting to clean up the mess and call it a day—trust me, I’ve been there. But crumbs and grease will accumulate and can affect the quality of your food in the future, so give both a few minutes.
