After 10 years of reliable service, our 10 year old first alarm ionization smoke detectors, model 0827B were recently replaced, a total of 6 detectors and upgraded to detect both ionization and photoelectric fire/smoke, hopefully we will never need an alarm again.

I needed to replace three of my 10 year old First Alert model SA340 smoke detectors that I placed in three rooms of my home in 2012. I was _very_ happy with them. So of course I had to replace them with new first alarms and I decided to upgrade to these FA Dual Sensor Photoelectric/Ionization Smoke and Fire Alarms with 10 year sealed battery model SA3210. First Alert Store offered me a three-pack! I was pleased to find that these SA3210 alarms fit the same mounting brackets as the SA340 alarms, so I didn’t have to drill new holes in the walls! New smoke and fire detectors work out of the box. It was a good deal and I am a very satisfied customer.

For 37 years now I have had 7 dual sensor first alarms going off and on in my house. Sometimes I could not buy this model and had to resort to other manufacturers’ models.
