Over the past 100+ years, most households in North America have moved away from using wood stoves. So there are not many old manuals. Despite my best efforts, I have never been able to find an instruction manual for our Renfrew Acorn beauty.
While it’s easy to find PDFs of the Acorn Stove Company and their circa 20th century wood stoves, it’s not very helpful.
As it turns out, our stove is not from a company in Michigan, but from the small town of Renfrew, Ontario. The stove company was closed several years ago.
